The Yavapai Ranch runs a herd of registered Quarter Horses to provide horses for its own use. Breeding includes, Easy Jet, Tivio, Two Eyed Jack, Doc Bar and San Peppy. A small number of ranch-raised horses are sold each year, the majority at a sale in September. The horses are sold at a joint sale with the Campbell Ranch.
